Rachel has practised exclusively in criminal defence since commencing her legal career. She has appeared in high-profile and complex criminal matters across both New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. Rachel has been listed as a Rising Star in Doyle’s Guide’s listing of individuals practising across Criminal Law, Traffic Law & White Collar Crime matters in 2023, 2024 and 2026.
Rachel has experience acting in complex investigations and proceedings involving law enforcement and integrity agencies and has developed a strong understanding of the legal and strategic issues that arise in serious and high-profile criminal matters. Rachel’s previous experience as an Adviser in the Department of the Prime Minister & Cabinet and the Attorney-General’s Department gives her a unique insight into the policy, legislative and governmental frameworks underpinning complex criminal investigations and proceedings, including matters involving the Criminal Intelligence Commission, the Crime Commission, and the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).
